newspaper cartooning      exploring caricature      caricature portraits      comic book illustration     street kids project In 1996 Jim Lees and Sonali Oja of Street Kids International, a Toronto based organization, approached me to help develop some educational material for street kids, especially related to problems of drug abuse. We worked along with some 15 Mumbai based street kids and developed characters and a story based on their authentic experiences. I designed these characters and created a series of comic-book like illustrations.
