newspaper cartooning      exploring caricature      caricature portraits     comic book illustration      street kids project Around 1996 my interest in developing my cartooning skills and exploring Indian characters made me approach Shri. Anant Pai of 'Tinkle' comics. I illustrated some of their story ideas. This was an interesting exercise as it made me study the art of comic book illustration and also gave me a good foundation of character drawing, layouts, architectural detailing and coloring.
