| The need to make my cartoons move and
talk got me applying and securing admission at the top international
animation schools. Lack of funds prevented me from proceeding further.
In the meantime, I learnt 3-D animation at Xavier's Institute of Communication,
Mumbai. In Feb 1991,a surprise gift, by Swiss animator Ted Sieger,
of his prize money won at the Bombay International Film Festival found
me studying animation at the noted Sheridan College, Ontario, Canada.
On completion of the first year, came back to India and worked with
Animator Ram Mohan doing advertising films. I also conducted an animation-training
program here. |
