venturing into animation      training animators      student ideas      story development      comic book development     week with the masters In Nov.1999 Toonz Animation India, Trivandrum, was host to South Asia's first animation summit, "A Week with the Masters". The focus of the event was pre-production techniques. The audience was presented with a series of screenings, educational lectures and panel discussions on storytelling, story boarding and character development. I was one of the panelists along with Rob Coleman, Ian Diamond, Jeff Hale, Derek Lamb, Lat, Bill Matthews, Ishu Patel, Tod Polson, Phil Robinson and Prescott Wright.
