In 1998, I was invited by RMUSL (now UTVToons), a Mumbai based animation studio to design and conduct a program to train selected artists in the techniques of animation film making to enter production as Junior Animators. This 6-month intensive course covered, besides the normal animation exercises, various other aspects including life drawing, art of caricature, character and story development, story boarding, gag ideas, layout design, and acting.

After successful completion of this program, Bill Dennis of Toonz Animation India, invited me to help set up the studio and train the first batch of animators in Trivandrum, Kerala.
